Christmas - The Season of Celebration of our Lord's Birth "Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11. May we never forget that this is truly a season of celebration as God sent His Son to be born into a humble earthly family of humble earthly means. He was willing to lay aside all the glories of heaven that are rightly His to come to take on our humanity so we could partake in the divine riches of heaven. As we reflect upon all the blessings that we have in Jesus, may we each joyfully celebrate the real meaning of this holiday season. In Christ, we have forgiveness of sin, cleansing of unrighteousness, the privilege to approach the One who dwells in unapproachable light, and the blessing to experience love, joy and peace in the midst of the struggles and stresses of everyday life, to name only a few. We ask you to celebrate with us the addition of at least 20 new brothers and sisters into the kingdom during our Honduras trip. We were able to share the good news of Jesus in a tent revival on Saturday through Thursday nights. Thanks to Gene Richardson who shared every other night. Tina was able to teach the Monte Redondo ladies on three afternoons. We were able to minister to several poor families through food distribution and spend lots of quality time with 50 precious orphaned boys that have been rescued by Forgotten Children Ministries. The little boys enjoyed practicing reading in their new books and coloring. Thank you to those who gave gifts to them. We have also been blessed to have had the privilege to visit the Holy Land and walk the paths and streets in Israel that our dear Savior walked so many years ago. We saw many of the places where He taught and healed in the city of Jerusalem and around the Sea of Galilee. We also saw Mount Carmel, the valley where Armageddon will take place, the Dead Sea, the Mount of Olives, the Temple Mount, the place of the Jesus's death and the empty garden tomb. It was more marvelous than we could have even dreamed or imagined. We are excited about going again next year and would like to invite you to join us. Please pray about it and e-mail if you would like more details. We believe that the new insight that we gained will show forth through our teaching--hopefully to bless many of you. Another reason that we are rejoicing this holiday season is you. You are such a vital part of this ministry through your prayers for our safety and for the words the Lord would have for us to share, for your encouragement and through your financial gifts. In each place that we visit, we take you in our hearts. You can know that we are able to keep going and sharing because of the faithfulness of our God and you, His servants. Thank you for your continued love for Him and us at Complete in Christ Ministries. We need you - for a Mission trip to Mexico on January 13-19. We will be painting and building bunk beds. However, there is a great need for carpenters, plumbers, electricians, helpers in all technical areas, cooks and those with willing hearts to be used by God to meet needs in a physical way (even if you think you have no useable gifts). |
